This Sarasota Wedding Photographer had an amazing time shooting Michelle & Shelby's beautiful wedding last month! I love all of my couples the same, but every now and then a couple and a wedding work their way into your heart in a way you never expected. Their vision of a small, intimate, and unique wedding was so lovely, and when the day finally came around, everything was just perfect! They had a beautiful and quaint wedding at The Historical Society of Sarasota's Crocker Memorial Church, with their reception next door at the historic Bidwell-Wood House. The couple chose to work with wedding planner Melissa Grady from Your Amazing Day, and she had every detail set up perfectly by the time the couple arrived.

Michelle and her Bridesmaids got ready at the Bidwell-Wood House as the afternoon sun shone in through the windows, adding to the magic of the moment. There were tears, laughter, and excitement as she got ready to walk down the isle. As the final detail, her mother placed her veil on top of her head and they were ready to begin, with Sandhill Photography right there to capture every moment.

The church was filled with natural light and smiling faces as Michelle's father walked her down the isle. Guests sat in pews original to the church, and the Groom's aunt performed a heart felt ceremony. In one of the sweetest and most unique ceremony moments this Sarasota wedding photographer has ever seen, the Bride and Groom ended their vows with a "Pinkie Promise", knowing that the promise they made to one another held more value to them than just a signed marriage license. After the ceremony the Bride and Groom made sure to get a special picture with both of their parents out side of the church, capturing the true beauty of love that lasts through generations.
