Anna Maria Island Beach Engagement Session with April & Drew. What's the only thing better than getting to hang out with a newly engaged couple and capture all of their love, excitement, and anticipation for their Engagement Pictures? Getting to capture the actual proposal!! April has been interning with us for a couple months now, and has made an amazing impact on our team here at Sandhill Photography, and so when her boyfriend Drew told me a few months ago that he was planning to pop the question and wanted me to be there to capture the moment, I could barely contain myself! We headed out to Holmes Beach for our Anna Maria Island Beach Engagement Session with April & Drew in plenty of time to get there early to make sure we wouldn't accidentally bump into the happy couple, and soon we found ourselves hiding behind the grass in the dunes. They arrived quite casually and you could tell that April didn't suspect a thing. We waited patiently until we saw Drew make his way up onto one knee and we flew into action to capture each emotional moment. April threw her hands over her face with a gasp, and the next thing I heard was a beautiful "yes.... yes... YES!" breathed out between her happy tears! The surprise wasn't over yet though, and soon their children, friends, and parents came running across the beach one by one to join them in celebration! I was so honored to be a part of this amazing moment in their lives. April and Drew, we love you both so much, and we can't wait to capture the joy of your wedding day!
