Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for a look at one of my new favorite locations in Bradenton as you join me in the debut of this amazing Rye Preserve Engagement Photography! Megan and I met several months ago at the Nuovo Bridal Expo. She was just starting to plan her wedding and was totally overwhelmed by all the options that the show had to offer. We gave it some time to settle in, and a few weeks later, we were sitting down over a cup of coffee at a local Starbucks for a "quick" meeting to talk about wedding photography. 4 HOURS LATER, I walked away with not only a new client, but a new friend as well. Megan's kind, open, and friendly personality was plain to see right away. We had a few other "quick" meetings in the months to follow, and soon we had plans for an amazing engagement session. I'd heard plenty about Greg through our many conversations, including that the way he could make her laugh was the reason she fell in love with him, and when I finally got to meet him last week, I loved the humorous, easy going way that he has about him. He definitely kept us all laughing the whole time. Even after the Florida rain changed our original location due to flooding, this awesome couple was prepared for a change of scenery. From braving mosquitoes, to climbing on logs, to wading in the water in formal wear, they were ready for anything! Rye Preserve is a lovely location with a huge variety of landscapes in a small area. On our session we enjoyed canopied trails through the woods, winding paths, the river bank of the Manatee river, a beautiful meandering creek, fallen logs, and a ravine, and there is so much more that we didn't even get to! And WOW, between this awesome location, and this super sweet couple, the pictures speak for themselves. I hope you enjoy some of our favorites from this Rye Preserve Engagement Photography session.
